It has been a few weeks since NCIS has aired a new episode in its time slot of 8PM on CBS 2 in Queens. The last new episode introduced new recurring character and love interest for Tony, EJ Barrett, played by Sarah Jane Morris.
Gibbs questions Vance's motives when he is asked to interrogate a teenage boy accused of killing his retired Marine father.
The upcoming episode this Tuesday, "Out of the Frying Pan…" features Cameron Monaghan, who plays Ian Gallagher on Showtime's Shameless guest starring as the teen, Nick Peyton, Vance wants Gibbs to interrogate.
The promo begins with Vance asking Gibbs how they can get someone to admit to being a monster. They have Nick in interrogation, and Vance is giving Gibbs three hours to get a confession out of him before he takes over. However, when Gibbs questions Nick, he insists he wasn't the one to kill his father. Vance isn't convinced, and he's ready to put some pressure on the teenager. Vance enters interrogation and introduces himself to Nick—and he's holding an axe in his hands. That's when it's revealed why he's involved in this case: the murdered Marine was a friend of Vance's. In the observation room, DiNozzo tells Vance that he feels bad for the guy who winds up dating his daughter. The promo ends with Vance arguing that they have a taped confession, but it's Gibbs who points out that they have one because Vance swung an axe in the teenager's face.
